One of Europe’s largest air shows
Airpower 2024 will take place this year on September 6th and 7th at the Hinterstoisser Air Base in Zeltweg. This event is one of the largest air shows in the world, organized by the Austrian Armed Forces in collaboration with the state of Styria and Red Bull.
The program includes aerial displays by the Austrian Air Force and international military aerobatic teams, as well as performances by the Flying Bulls and various civilian aircraft. A total of around 200 aircraft will be on display, including the S-70 Black Hawk, the Eurofighter Typhoon, and the C-130 Hercules.
Additionally, special demonstrations are expected, such as the American F-35A and the Austrian "Argonauts," featuring 25 aircraft and ground vehicles in a unique choreography.
The event is family-friendly, with special activities for children:
