The ride or drive in the Nockbergen is a lasting experience for every nature lover. The almost 35 km road leads in 52 bends from Innerkrems to Sauereggen (2.024m) through the only European national park in gentle high mountains with the largest stands of spruce and stone pine in the eastern Alps. Visitors find excellent gastronomic venues offering Carinthian home cooking along the road. The attractive offer is extended with well-marked hiking trails and information facilities as well as children’s playgrounds.

The Malta Valley is also called the "Valley of the cascading water". Worth seeing are the "Malteiner Wasserspiele", which forms the Maltabach in an easily accessible, gorge-like valley cut. Over several rock steps the water rushes over the "Melnikfall" into the depth. Of enchanting beauty are the "Faller ponds", in which the abundance of water plunge.

The most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3.798 m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. You will have a driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 Kilometers of high alpine road with 36 bends and an altitude ascent to 2.504 Meters. You pass through a unique world of mountains with blossoming alpine meadows, fragrant mountain forests, massive cliffs and eternal ice to the foot of the Grossglockner, the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-High. The Goldeck panoramic road, with a length of 14,5 km, runs from Zlan all the way to the Goldeck terminal parking area “Seetal” (1.895 m). Ten bends and the parking areas along the road repeatedly offer majestic views of snow-capped mountaintops, the Millstatt Lake, the Krawanken and the valley of the Drava until Villach. Many hiking trails start from the parking area of Seetal, for example one to the peak of the Goldeck (easy level, about 45 minutes long). From here only in a few minutes the Goldeck cable car takes you up to an altitude of 2.000 m with an excellent view of the Millstatt Lake.
